The warm, welcoming vibe is complemented by the friendly staff. Miklós Bruncz praised the attentive service, noting that the "authentic food" he enjoyed came at an incredibly low price. At just €11 for a menu, the restaurant proves that delightful dining doesn't have to break the bank. Great spot for enjoying large tapas served complimentary with your drink. While the quality of the tapas isn’t exceptional, it’s hard to complain when they’re free. A solid choice for a casual outing with good value!

I had a wonderful time with my friend having a coffee at El Lagar. The kind lady also offered us a delicious cake. The prices here are also very good. Highly recommended!

Good food - local vibes. First day in Madrid I walked around my hotel looking for a quick lunch, and took a chance walking to this place. I don't speak any Spanish, but I manage to order meatball and lemon beer. It was so delicious! The food portion is perfect. Making you full, with some room for desert.

A small place at the back of a bar, but some of the best tapas we have tried in the area. Complimentary potatoes too, but the steak was a real beautiful dish. Everything was fresh. You know its a local favourite when it has poker players at the back.
